USA Cycling has processed the Ciclistas club application.

I see that one of the benefits this year is 50% of Habervision Sunglasses. Steve Owens from Colorado Premier Training in Durango tells me that they make nice stuff.

SUNDAY RIDE

The Sunday Ride will meet at 11:00AM in Flanders Park.
We will only cancel if the roads are too icy/snowy to ride (which looks like a real possibility).

Alternative: Nordic Skiing at either Chicken Creek or on Lizard Head.

Spring Clothing Order

We need to start thinking about our next order. Here are some things I need feedback on:

Design
1. Fix the tread on the sleeves and collar
2. Add USWCDP logo to back
3. I heard Chris Barber might want to sponsor?

Sponsors
1. The cost for different spots on the kit
2. When do previous sponsors need to renew?
3. Is Sol Cycles providing a service worthy of the front/back/shorts of our kit?

Deadlines
1. For sponsor sign-up/art (Feb. 14?)
2. For clothing order (March 1?)

Spring Racing 8 weeks away -- Who rode today?

If you are interested in logging your miles, bikejournal.com is a free option on the web. You can track different bikes and kinds of rides while customizing the journal to set up columns of interest to you (ride time, routes, speed, HR, etc.).

I have also set up Ciclistas del Rio as a club on the site so you can attach yourself to the club and see how many miles our club members are racking up. The password to join our club is "ciclistas". If you have questions or need some help, send me an email.
